From 2012 to 2026, Tel Aviv photographer Eran Yerushalmi (CHIEF) kept returning to the same beach in Tel Aviv, by the Manta Ray, and photographed Old Jaffa across the water. Every photograph here was shot and edited on iPhone.

Old Jaffa stays. Tel Aviv keeps growing. The sky is never the same twice.

Jaffa is in every one of these photographs. The rest kept changing: the light, the people on the shore, and the iPhone in his pocket, from the iPhone 4S in 2012 to the iPhone 16 Pro Max in 2026.

Each year opens with one photograph, followed by a few more from the same year.
